Spring is my favorite season because the flowers, the animals wake up from hibernation, and a new year begins. Spring brings new life to world. Animals are born, and saplings start to grow.
The first thing I like about spring is that Ican take a stroll in a flower garden. My family always celebrates the warmth of March and end of winter by enjoying the many events and displays of flower season, held around Taipei and Yangmin Mountain. The mountain comes to life in spring with blankets of azaleas blooming, cherry blooming and many other kinds of flowers. My whole family loves to spend time taking in the flowery beauty and fresh mountain air there.
Sometimes, we go hiking and camping around the beautiful white-sand beaches and breathtaking mountain scenery. We can enjoy being alone with nature, even in popular tourist spots, before hordes of summer tourists invade.
