Taiwan got 2 No.1 in fifty years in worldwide

Fifty years ago, the total fertility rate of Taiwan was reached seven people and announced as worldwide No.1 by the United Nations Population fertility evaluation. But now Taiwan won the worldwide No.1 again because the total fertility rate decrease to 0.94 and become ‘’ Don’t have children No.1 country in worldwide’’.

As I know Taiwanese they indeed love children but why they don’t want to birth it because of economic issue. Most of my friends whatever they get married or not, they are afraid that they cannot afford good education and best life quality for their children, so they choose not to have. Even they doubt the value of family, some of them think it’s not necessary to have family and children, they still can live well in their life.

I found one interesting thing is, when young couple they want to have children, but was limited by their income and don’t dare to have. After they think they have enough money to birth, the problem is they are too old to have it.

To avoid the disaster because of less young generation and more old generation in future, I will keep encourage my friends not to afraid having children, even myself.
